A first!

The last time I worked out with my mom was in 2009 and before that it was 2003/2004, but today we worked out at our apartment's gym. Her trainer said she should workout a few times on her own between her sessions. So I offered to go and do the 45 minute treadmill run/walk he suggested her. She was happy I came to support her and I gave her the suggestion to use my 2 lb. sand bag hand weights to work her arms a little during her time on the treadmill plus it would burn more calories because she would be engaging her whole body in the workout (TIP)! She even broke a sweat!

Well of course others were in the gym, so I could not get a treadmill in the small gym so I started with 15-20 minutes on the bike then I did a circuit on the gym equipment working my arms such as doing the row machine, rowing 100-120 times. Then I did 20-40 of the bicep curls amongst 5 other exercises. Next I did 10 sit ups. Last I did a 5 minute walk/jog with incline on the treadmill (When it was finally available) to finish strong right alongside my mom! Needless to say I am swore! Too bad for me because I have 3 more days of workouts to go!

Monday I was Spring cleaning and came across a romper I bought last summer while I was vacationing in Miami that I actually chose free with my purchase. (Great Deal huh?!) Later that night I fully thought I was throwing that romper on for a night on the town, but nope I was sadly mistaken! The romper would not even make it up my leg. Wow! I put that romper in my suitcase and enjoyed the rest of my trip and hung it up in my closet. Well 9 months later after all my hard work, sweat and (tears?) I am happy to say I took out that romper wondering if it was going to Goodwill fully thinking I could not even fit it! Mind you last summer it would not go up my leg... In December it was tight on my thighs and would not come close to zipping... And now it slid up my thighs effortlessly and IT ZIPPED and with room to spare I might add! That was the best feeling of my life! I cried that day. Yes I did! Losing weight is so much harder but yet so much more rewarding when you know it was all of your OWN hard work and no one else's! It was an incredible feeling! Also I looked absolutely gorgeous in it! I can't wait to wear that sucker out somewhere now! Go me! Go me! Go me! (as I dance around and move my arms in a cabbage patch-like manner) Pictures below! :)

If you really want me to place you on my plan and you want to do what I do you must understand that you MUST be ready to lose weight and really really want this for yourself! Secondly and probably the most important factor is that in order to do this you have to be highly SELF-DISCIPLINED! Pretty much you are the person that basically is good at or enjoys online class work because I find those people like myself to have that extreme factor of self-discipline. But I wouldn't discourage you if you aren't that person because in reality even though I am the person I just described I would have never in a million years thought I'd come this far [on my own]! Whatever you decide I WOULD NOT let you down! Let me know if you really want me to help you!

No I am not a trainer, I didn't study medicine, health or any such fields! I am however someone who has tried many things, has read about the subject, and finally said I am going to do this my way and totally how I want to and DID IT and was VERY SUCCESSFUL at it! So, if anything I can be a unconventional fitness coach to you!

Thanks for reading!

P.S. Can you and your friends spread the word about my blog?! I would so greatly appreciate it!

Kisses,
