Going to the gym everyday on it's on will not get you there. I know plenty of people who just go to the gym and complain that they aren't seeing results (especially in their stomachs)! Put down the crappy food and commit! I'm tired of your excuses for why you can't eat 3-6 meals a day, why it costs so much, why you don't have time, why you forget to do X, Y and Z etc. etc. With all that you have going on then you shouldn't have any time to complain. A workout takes no time out of your sleep, your day etc. Eating well is not always bland or expensive. I think eating out all the time is more expensive and not being full and having to eat the junk more often is an issue.
I have all the excuses too, but I have to let them go. The biggest issue is that I have a texture issue and simply do not eat many things because of the way they feel when I bite into them and some things such as bananas have double the issue because I also dislike the taste.
Get with it!
I was able to train myself to eat smaller portions, I was able to train myself to be hungry at the right times, I was able to train my body to stop craving some things and to start craving others, I was able to train myself to like things that I wouldn't ordinarily eat or drink and by learning new ways to eat some things I was able to get the nutrition I needed without missing anything ... This did not all happen overnight and neither was it easy, but I COMMITTED and I did it!
