Some of the things I got...
Eat more fruits and vegetables! Drink lots of water to keep yourself from over eating and to keep yourself hydrated. If you are like me and don't care for peanut butter, try almond butter instead. Make sure your protein drinks are high in protein to build muscle. Get some whey protein as well. No you will not get bulky unless you want to be. I already told you all the benefits of green tea! Red wine vinger is delicious on salads and a little on a sandwich is yummy as well. Feta cheese is great on salads. Hummus is a good snack food and there are many varieties depending upon your taste. You can dip your tortilla chips in them, or vegetables etc. or you can place it on your wrap or sandwich as well. It has a couple of uses. Rather than eating mixed greens or iceberg lettuce salads, choose baby spinach. Popeye had it right to make spinach his go to food! Egg whites are btter for you than eating the yolk. You don't have to buy the carton if you are ok with picking the yolk out of your eggs in the morning. Eggs are really high in protein!!! Edamame is a great side dish and snack. It is high in protein and other nutrients and not well known. I prefer to stock up on many different kinds of fish, shrimp, skinless, boneless chicken breasts, and frozen fruits and veggies. The frozen fruits and veggies last longer than fresh fruits and veggies. Some fruits and veggies should only be bought when you plan to eat them because they do not stay fresh long. This is my way to conserve, although I prefer fresh fruit especially because I know they have not been processed. I mainly use frozen fruits for smoothies. Raw nuts are a good source of your daily oils. Eat them in small amounts. They are good snacks, can be feeling, and are yummy. Go for the raw ones instead and the unsalted. ones are better. Replace your everyday chips with Pita chips; they are good, but not as flavorful. At least that particular bag of Stacy's does not seem to be, but it has enough to get the job done! Eat them in moderation as you would regular chips. Those World Table Multi-Grain tortilla chips are SO DELICIOUS! You can't just eat one! Eat them in moderation though. i eat them as a snack and dip them into my hummus. DELISH! Happy grocery shopping and eating! :)
