When the Beats first came out, I didn't understand the hype. I wondered what made them, so different from all the other headphones on the market. I also wondered why people were paying, so much for them. Now I know. Beats by Dre are like the iPhone of headphones. Every rapper on tv is rocking them around there neck or up on their ears. Some people have them custom bejeweled.

I received mine for Christmas; I did not buy them. I was not that curious.

So, why are they on my fave things list?

• Adjusts to fit
• Headset capability
• Snug fit
• Sound cancelling ability ***
• Raw sound
• Folds to put away
• Durable, sleek case
• Battery life

All of those points have high remarks for me.

Why are these headphones so superior?

The sound cancellation. Since the headphones cancels out the environment around you, you are able to focus in on the everything entering your ear better. It sounds as crisp as a studio.
